Below you will find the most up-to-date morning and afternoon traffic plans for our campus. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

Morning Drop-Off

  • View the updated morning traffic map below. The map directly below is for morning drop-off ONLY. (Scroll further down to view afternoon traffic plans.)

  • There are now three lanes entering the South Elementary campus, and parents are free to use the lane they find most convenient.

  • Parents may enter the lane south of the LCISD Maintenance Building off of CR 2330 and drop students off at the back (south) entrance of South Elementary. After drop-off, parents will exit back onto CR 2330.

  • Parents may enter the lane south of the LCMS football field off of CR 2330 and drop students off at the front (north) entrance of South Elementary. After drop-off, parents must exit onto Loop 493. Parents using this lane cannot turn around and exit back onto CR 2330.

  • Parents may enter the lane south of LCMS off of Loop 493, travel past the front of LCMS, then turn south and drop students off at the front (north) entrance of South Elementary. After drop-off, parents must exit back onto Loop 4933. Parents using this lane cannot turn around and exit onto CR 2330.

Afternoon Pick-Up

  • View the updated afternoon traffic map below. The map directly below is for afternoon pick-up ONLY.

  • All pick-up will remain curbside. Please do not park and walk into the building to pick up your child.

  • Pre-k-2nd grade students will be picked up on the front (north) side of the building, and 3rd-5th grade students will be picked up on the back (south) side of the building. PK-2nd graders with older siblings in 3rd-5th grade will be picked up on the back (south) side of the building along with their older siblings. After-school care vans will also pick up on the back (south) side of the building.

  • PK-2ND GRADE PICK-UP (BLUE ARROWS): Parents picking up PK-2nd grade students can enter the property one of two ways. Parents can enter the lane south of the LCMS football field off of CR 2330 (turning east) and pick students up at the front (north) entrance of South Elementary. Or, parents can enter the lane south of LCMS off of Loop 493 (turning west) and pick students up at the front (north) entrance of South Elementary. After pick-up, parents must exit onto Loop 493. Parents picking up students on the front (north) side of the building cannot exit onto CR 2330.

  • 3RD-5TH GRADE PICK-UP (PINK ARROWS): Parents picking up 3rd-5th graders (and younger siblings) can enter from CR 2330 (turning east). Drivers should follow the south drive and pick up students curbside on the back (south) side of the building before exiting back onto CR 2330.
